This weeks design tip is a simple one, but can make an impact. Jill noticed these plates on the wall and snapped this great picture. This can literally be done in any layout and match any colors in your room. It's a great way to feature your china and make a great focal piece all at once.
Love the little pop of terra cotta on the rims of the plates! Try this fun design tip out!
Enjoy!

Blackberry Farm: A Week of Design Inspiration
Today's cool find Friday is a great way to take any table, whether it is damaged of just out of style, and make it look great again! These tailored, fitted table skirts are a great way to hide a not so attractive piece of furniture. Place a piece of glass on top for extra protection.
This can be done in any fabric you like!

Blackberry Farm: A Week of Design Inspirations
One place that Jill mentioned loving, was the garden shed at Blackberry Farm. In fact, she said it was the "world's best garden shed!". I thought I would show you a few pictures she took of it, and how even the most utilitarian items can be beautiful...

Blackberry Farm: A Week of Design Inspirations
While looking through all the pictures Jill took, she mentioned loving the colors of this picture. We decided to make a color palette inspired by this picture.
Benjamin Moore- Skyblue
Benjamin Moore- Dark Salmon
Benjamin Moore- Carbon Copy
Benjamin Moore- Corinth White
You can use anything to draw design inspiration. If you have a picture that captures all the colors you love, base your color scheme around it! Enjoy!

Blackberry Farm: A Week of Design Inspirations
During Jill's recent stay at Blackberry Farms, in Tennessee, she took many pictures to inspire our blog this week! The farm is gorgeous with picturesque views everywhere you look and some amazing interiors. Today's organization blog is inspired by a little touch that was in the cottage she stayed in. French drawer liners are a great way to line antique pieces of furniture to not only protect the wood, but the things you place in the drawer. We are going to give you an easy how to so you can do it yourself!
Supplies needed:
Foam Core or Pressed Wood
Sheet Batting
Hot Glue Gun
Fabric of your Choice
How To:
Start by measuring your foam core to fit your drawer. Tip: You can tape together two pieces of foam core if it isn't big enough. You can also use a thin piece of wood and have it cut to size. If you are doing this, have it cut slightly smaller to allow room for the batting and fabric. Wrap your board in sheet batting and secure with staples or hot glue. Next
follow the same procedure with the fabric and secure with hot glue.Cut the fabric slightly bigger than the batting so that it makes contact with foam/wood.
Now just place in your drawer and enjoy! Such an easy project to do!

Super simple tiered tray filled with flowers and pumpkins! This would look so cute sitting on the kitchen counter!
I think this is so cute and easy! Leaves added to clear candle holders and a little pop of orange from the fabric underneath.

Fall DIY!
Terrariums are hot right now! Jill had a great idea for an easy table top DIY. She simply added a few small pumpkins to her existing terrarium. They would also look great in an apothecary jar! Just use anything you have in your house!
Happy Fall decorating!
