Easy Change

Today, I wanted to talk about doing some easy change outs to get you ready for the new season.  You don't have to go out and buy a ton of new decor, it can be easy!  Jill wanted to share with you her simple seasonal switch ideas.

Organization Monday! Dorm room style!

Here are some must have  organizational items in your dorm room!

Of course a laundry basket, something cute, but EASY to carry!

Probably one of the most important items! Closet storage systems, whether a hanging shelf or an over-the-door shoe hanger.  Utilize as much storage as possible in a small space!

If you live in the dorm, a shower caddy is your new BFF.  These from PB Teen are so cute!

I love the idea of a deep storage shelf to hold brushed and hair tools.  Take care of your straightener and store it.  (Don't wrap your cord around your straightener--sorry that was the former hair dresser talking).

This is a great!  A rolling caddy can be close to your bed, desk, getting ready area, anywhere you need it to be!

Cool find friday!

Since backpacks are all the rage right now, I thought it would be my perfect cool find friday.

Boys:

I have been seeing pictures of these everywhere lately.  They are called madpax and you can get them in all different sizes and colors.

How cool are those?!


Girls:

I have been seeing tons of cute backpacks for girls! Some are carrying them as an alternative to a purse.  Totally 90's, which I love.

Love this tribal print one from urbanoutfitters.com, totally cute and can be used for more than just school/college.

School Colors Tuesday!

If you have a senior with a graduation party coming up, or any school party event, then hopefully this will put the school spirit in you!

Design Tip Thursday!

These are a couple of older projects from Jill.  Notice the way she tied the curtains in  through a bolster pillow on the bed.   A little tip is to pull one of the colors from a patterned curtain, that way it ties into the room.

This is a kitchen she designed and the curtain fabric is gorgeous!
