Cool find friday!

Since backpacks are all the rage right now, I thought it would be my perfect cool find friday.

Boys:

I have been seeing pictures of these everywhere lately.  They are called madpax and you can get them in all different sizes and colors.

How cool are those?!

Girls:

I have been seeing tons of cute backpacks for girls! Some are carrying them as an alternative to a purse.  Totally 90's, which I love.

Love this tribal print one from urbanoutfitters.com, totally cute and can be used for more than just school/college.

Cool Find Friday!

Poor ceilings, they are often painted white and forgotten... But here are some amazing ceiling treatments that will grab your attention!
Chunky moulded beams with accent ceiling tiles.  Subtle contrast, but still a huge focal point in the space.

Love the more subtle geometric style moulding, especially with the focal furniture.
Ooooo ahhhh, tent treatment on the ceiling in the fitness room.
Such a cool pattern!

Enjoy!

Cool find Friday! Revere Bowl

A brief history of the Revere Bowl.

Paul Revere, a silversmith master craftsman, a very successful entrepreneur in several businesses, and a consummate political activist, was commissioned by the Sons of Liberty-a patriotic and drinking society of which he was a member-to design and execute in silver a tribute to commemorate the vote and immortalize the 92 who were courageous enough to vote against rescinding the resolution and the circular letter. Revere was instructed to design a silver rum punch bowl to be made of 45 ounces of silver and to hold 45 gills of rumRevere engraved the bowl with historical symbols and references as well as with the names of 17 members of the Sons of Liberty along with the numbers 45 and 92 bowl . The design of the bowl was inspired by Chinese commemorative porcelain bowls produced for the American and British markets. After a series of private ownership, the commemorative silver bowl designed and executed by Revere was purchased by the Museum of Fine Arts of Boston with money donated by the school children of Massachusetts for that purpose.

Revere named his bowl the Liberty Bowl, and with it a local tradition was established. Engraved copies of his Liberty Bowl are commonly referred to as Revere Bowls. They are widely used especially by local organizations to commemorate special events or achievements of individuals or organizations.

Some revere bowls come with glass or enamel inserts.

Cool Find Friday!

Ok, I stumbled across this on pinterest and could not believe how cool these are.  They are called Bubble Tree Tents, they are not yet available in the US as far as I know.  But, they are one of the coolest things!  It is just like sleeping in a bubble, they come in several different models and sizes.  I like the fully clear one, if you don't want to sacrifice the view of where you are then bubble tree is the way to go!  Hopefully, they will be in the US sooner than later.

You can always check out your view!

How amazing would this be?!

Enjoy!

Cool Find Friday!

Wreaths aren't always for outdoor decor!  You can incorporate wreaths into your spaces inside as well.  They can be more simple and made out of things that are more reflective of the look you are trying to achieve.

This starfish wreath is simple and clean.  It ties into the other decor that surrounds it.

This is a great alternative to hang over your headboard, a simple antler wreath.

Enjoy!
